Catalan Spirulina from the ALG'ETHIC farm: In summer, open daily from 2.30pm-7pm except Sunday. From 1/10 to 1/06, closed on Sundays and Mondays.
It was during an expatriation to Madagascar that Christiane and Alain discovered the benefits of Spirulina, this "algae with miraculous virtues" used to combat malnutrition and nutritional deficiencies.
After a career spanning 30 years, they decided to become involved in the sustainable, ethical and socially responsible production of extraordinary foods.
They took a training course in Spirulina cultivation through the "Fédération des Spiruliniers de France", and chose to set up a human-scale farm in a charming corner of nature in the heart of the Pyrénées Orientales, in TORREILLES, cradled by a climate ideal for the healthy growth of this microalgae. So from the ponds to your plate, there's a healthy and complete diet...
